Unexploded Ordnances – Curing historical amnesia and saving the world

I saw another really insightful and creative performance at the ACCA recently for The Badger. This interactive production by radical feminist theatre duo Split Britches brought the oft-neglected issue of ageism into the context of contemporary progressive society, through a bizarre homage to Stanley Kubrick’s Dr Strangelove or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. The show explored our shared hopes, desires and anxieties surrounding our uncertain futures – be they personal, local or global.
